Two of our Lake Communicators members will recap some of the knowledge they gained at the four-day Content Marketing World last September in Cleveland. This is the primo annual happening for content marketing, with 3,500 marketers from 55 countries attending in 2015.

Chad Gourley, director of marketing and community outreach at Torva Local, and Frank Vaccariello, electronic marketing and communications specialist at EYE Lighting International, will each discuss what they learned from attending some of the 80-plus sessions presented by the leading brand marketers from around the world covering strategy, integration, measurement and more.

Chad Gourley is a passionate marketer with a desire to see small businesses grow and prosper. At Torva Local, the goal is to make sure each client’s brand is represented professionally online and on mobile devices, starting with a strategic planning process and ending with a long term relationship.

Frank Vaccariello is responsible for the web presence of EYE Lighting International and its three divisions, two which have a large set of social media platforms. Frank also works with small business owners in the Northeast Ohio area to help them create and implement new online communication plans.

From the President
Maximize your ROI in Lake Communicators

Annemarie Donnelly

I think most people start out the New Year with fresh ideas of how they are going to change, do better, and be a better person. I certainly do, and even though most New Year’s resolutions don’t last long, I still believe in trying. Even if you only accomplish one or two of the ten on your list, you’ve managed to improve yourself somehow, and that is what’s important.

I have been a member of Lake Communicators for nearly 15 years (with a short break when I worked downtown) and when I think about how many friendships, how many business partners, and how much fun I have had – well, I am truly appreciative of this special organization.

What about you? Obviously, if you’re a member, you enjoy our group. But are you maximizing your return on your membership investment? Think about getting involved in a committee, working on the Apex Awards, or spending a year as a board member. I can GUARANTEE that you will find any of these options to be valuable personally, and professionally.

Please consider how you can make the most of your membership. If you have any questions, give me a call. I’d love to have YOU get more involved! You have talent, and Lake Communicators needs it.

Best regards,
Annemarie
