Marketing Communications Professionals Receive Top Honors at 12th Annual Apex Award Event

Awards Presented for Creative and Innovative Marketing

APEX logoCongratulations to the winners of the Lake Communicators 12th Annual APEX Awards competition held at Mooreland Mansion of Lakeland Community College on May 18. Lake Communicators presented fifty Gold, Silver and Bronze awards to individuals, businesses and organizations that work and serve clients in Lake, Geauga and Ashtabula counties for their outstanding marketing and public relations campaigns.

“We are always blown away by the talent and creativity shown in the many entries received for the APEX Awards. With fewer categories to enter into this year, the competition was tough. But as always, we were impressed by the work of our local marketing professionals. Congratulations to everyone who won!” said Laura Lytle, Lake Communicators APEX Awards Committee Chair.

More than 75 entries were received from individual marketing professionals, local businesses, nonprofits and creative boutiques. Categories ranged from traditional print marketing and advertising to video, radio and digital marketing, including websites, online advertising and blogs.

Businesses of note during the awards included Company 119, Hathaway Brown School, Lake County Y, Lake Metroparks, Laketran, Ten10 Design, and Little L Communications for receiving multiple awards.

In addition, two Best of Show prizes were awarded in both Print Media (winner SP Mount Printing for JFSA Annual Report) and Digital Media (winner Lake Metroparks for new website).

A complete list of Gold, Silver and Bronze APEX Award winners is available on the Lake Communicators website: www.LakeCommunicators.com.
